While it is unclear
what motivated the tradition, it is perhaps fair to say that it might have started
with one person thinking about having the ring as a symbol of marriage (Need to
learn about this tradition, read more here). Civil societies and communities like religions
made part of their traditions. Now, the
question whether one needs a ring to be recognized as married person; in other
words, is it an issue when married people do not wear what societies consider
to be one of the labels of marriage?
